Data Security
Edulete takes reasonable steps to protect the personal data of its Users for any misuse, interference or loss and from un-authorized access, modification and disclosure. The steps we take to protect personal data include:
1.1. Outsourcing the transaction processing system to a reputable, secure, Payment Card Industry (“PCI”) compliant payment gateway providers. At the inception, Edulete has engaged RazorPay as payment gateway, however, Edulete reserves right to replace them with any other payment gateway and User ought to comply with such change/adaptation in future.
1.2. Utilizing a fully secured technology stack system on Amazon Web Services technologies [“AWS”]. Portal’s databases are only accessible to certain IP addresses, locations and servers. In addition, Edulete has implemented the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard of best practices for data protection of personal data provided by the Users.
1.3. Encrypting information sent between the Users and the Portal, by using Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) protocol and 128 bit encryption (highest level of encryption commercially available).
Edulete undertakes to promptly intimate/notify its Users and to appropriate authority of any breach of personal data, whenever relevant and required under the law.
Third Party sites, services and products
1.1. The Portal may contain links to other internet sites owned and operated by third parties. Users’ use of each of those sites is subject to the conditions, if any, posted on the said sites. Edulete does not exercise control over any internet sites apart from its own and cannot be held responsible for any content residing in any third party owned internet site. Portal’s inclusion of third-party contents or links to third party owned websites is not an endorsement by Edulete of the same.
1.2. Users agree that Edulete will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as a result of any transactions undertaken by the Users on such third-party websites.
Grievance Officer
